Ridgeview Lodge Care Community in Kamloops

Welcome to Ridgeview Lodge

Long-Term Care in Kamloops

Designed to meet the needs of seniors in the Thompson-Shuswap region of British Columbia, Ridgeview Lodge brings residents together in a cottage-like setting. Close to public transit, shops, restaurants, the Thompson River and McArthur Island Park, the area around Ridgeview Lodge is as convenient it is as beautiful. Our home features three inter-connected buildings, splitting residents’ suites into smaller, more close-knit neighbourhoods to promote friendship and wellbeing in a home-like environment.

Intimate outdoor patios and balconies let you enjoy the gardens and spectacular mountain views. If you get out-of-town visitors, or just want to be a bit closer to family for a night, set them up in our family guest rooms. Ridgeview Lodge’s programs and services are geared towards helping the 129 residents live life fully, every day. Music therapy and daily recreational programs work together with physio and occupational therapy to make sure that each day offers residents a chance to try something new.

Kind words from residents and families

  • “I arrived [to pick my mother up for a family dinner and] two staff were doing her hair, makeup, and dressing her up for the occasion. I stood for a while listening to the interaction and it brought tears to my eyes. They were making it fun for Mom, laughing and joking as they doted on her.”

  • “We moved my Mother [to Ridgeview Lodge Care Community] from another facility in town and could not believe the difference in care. The number of staff per resident was high and the personal attention was both caring and compassionate.”
