Welcome to Spencer House
Spencer House Incorporated is located just west of Highway 11 in the lovely lakeside community of Orillia. This incorporated not-for-profit long-term care home opened in 2006 and embodies the latest and most progressive thinking in long-term care design. Spencer House Incorporated is acknowledged as a not-for-profit residential long-term care home by Revenue Canada, and to that end Spencer House has a mandatory Board of Directors comprised of experienced volunteers whose function is governance that supports the mission and strengthens the viability of the care community. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Facility is operated by Sienna Senior Living.
Opting for either private or shared accommodation, the 160 residents enjoy the attention of caring and dedicated team members. Numerous events and activities are held regularly, including some where the whole community is invited; and others just for residents, their families and friends. Spencer House’s reputation in the community has attracted contributions from families and others who wish to show their appreciation for the high standards of care being provided. Spencer House has a Canada Revenue Agency Charitable Organization Registration Number and is able to issue a receipt for income tax purposes.
