Welcome to Streetsville
Streetsville Care Community enjoys a small town, residential atmosphere within its urban setting in Mississauga. This long-term care community opened its doors in 1976, and is home to 118 residents, offering a number of well-established care programs. These include nursing rehabilitation and physiotherapy, pet therapy and palliative care. A very popular activity is the Dinner Club, which is held twice a month. This intimate meal is attended by a small group of residents, and sometimes family members too, who sign up to enjoy a specially-prepared and sociable dinner. This extended circle of friendship forms a deep connection that creates a true sense of community among residents. Air-conditioning is available in common areas and all resident rooms.
If you have a concern or complaint about the health, safety, or wellbeing of a person living in long term care, we encourage you to bring it to the attention of the care community and its manager. You may also contact the Ministry of Long-Term Care’s toll-free telephone number for making complaints at 1-866-434-0144, with the hours of operation: 8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m., 7 days a week.
